FOUNDER & OWNER
AUGUST VFX was started by Matt Wilmshurst who is an award winning Flame and Smoke Artist. Over the last 20 years Matt has had the pleasure of working alongside some of the most highly regarded names in Commercial Post-Production. Matt is also a VFX supervisor working onset for all VFX needs.

Matt began his career as a runner in 1998 at The Mill London and quickly made his way up to Flame Assistant. Training under Flame Artist's such as Barnsley (consistently voted No.1 VFX artist), Neil Davies (2D Head, The Mill London),Angus Kneale (MD, Mill New York) and Jason Watts (Finish) Matt gained a wealth of knowledge.
